Chris Milk has gone onto do many amazing projects that elevate the music video experience. Most notably was this collaboration with Google Chrome a few years ago to launch The Arcade Fire’s phenomenal “The Suburbs” album – an amazing interactive experience that cleaned up at awards. However, I still love revisiting his more traditional music videos such as this heartbreaking one for Gnarls Barkley’s “Who’s Gonna Save My Soul”. A break up scene that becomes a literal telling of being stabbed in the heart and that feeling that you may never recover. Very endearing, slightly gross piece.
