The Maccabees “Pelican”

Incorporating real objects and shot on an incredibly long lens, The Maccabees song “Pelican” is interpreted as a journey through a black hole of time and memories split in two. Created by award winning director David Wilson and art director Andy Kelly, the video brings to life lyrics contemplating life and getting older. The editing is great and the overall feel is pretty touching and quirky. I also found out that David Wilson is also responsible for the Tame Impala video “Mind Mischief” I posted about a while ago. Here is the making of video too.
